    Fjords have very thick manes that grow very quickly in my experience. Their manes are cut to look like this and I do this about every two weeks.

    I love Norwegian Fjords! One of my favorite breeds…they’re very rare in the States though :(

    Wow, it’s so nice to see someone riding dressage in such harmony and balance. Very inspirational. Hope I manage to sit like you on the horse one day. Nice fjord:-)

    Thanks very much. I will pass this on to the rider. As you can see, she is very tall, 6′ and the Fjord is 14.3 HH.

    That’s about the same for me and my fjord. I’m 170cm and he is 146 cm on the back (metric system, I’m Norwegian). But at least now I know that it’s possible to look graceful even though I’m a bit too tall for my horse.
