How to Make a Good Makeshift Riding Arena?
Ok, so I have a pony called Dazzle and I ride him in a corner of his large field. It’s very big and it’s hard to keep him on a circle or what have you. There are also some trees and jumps and stuff we use as borders but it just makes a stupid L shape. He sometimes runs off with me, but thats another thing altogether.
Anyone else like to build themselves an arena? Using whatever ideas you’ve thought of. I already have dressage markers but I’d love to build a border too, using whatever you can think of!
Any type of temporary fencing?

use old cans/barrels for corner markers
Wooden poles and electric fencing might be handy but actually electrify it- that wouldn’t end well ^^
for a drassage arena i uaually take 2”x 4” and cut them 12” long then you make them into an x and lay another 2×4 across two x’s. (like a jump but shorter.) for a normal riding arena temporary you can take fence posts and wrap tape fencing around the pole s so you can remove them wenever you please. i wish i had some pics to show you but i dont it works great for me hope it works good for you!
