Im Thirteen and Looking for a Horse?

I am looking for a good dressage horse. My parents said I can pick any horse as long as hes under 250K. I live in the Hamptons in New York. Any ideas?

OMG, for 250K you could buy any horse you want. Maybe you should find a rescue horse that needs a second chance? They seem to understand that you love them and appreciate you more, and are more willing. For dressage, you would do well with a horse that is warm-blooded or even one that can be lively, I show Appaloosas in dressage, western, and show jumping. They are a good all-around intelligent horse. Retired racehorses such as Standardbreds and Thoroughbreds are great too. Morgans are great dressage breed, they were originally bred as war horses during the civil war, but they are getting harder to find. Never under estimate a "western horse" like a Mustang or Quarter horse, they are very intelligent breeds, and can be trained to do just about anything, and you can find these breeds fairly easily for adoption. I agree with the answerer above, Petfinder.com is a great resource.

Okay wait…. lets think about this… if the horse in the trailer cost more than the truck AND trailer together…there’s something wrong with that picture!! lol good luck with your search
