Protecting a Dressage Horse’s Legs

In dressage, polo wraps are used on a horse’s legs for protection, and these wraps need to be applied correctly and with even pressure so they don’t injure the horse’s tendons. Learn about using bell boots and dressage boots to protect a horse’s feet with helpful advice in this video on horse training and dressage.

I’ve always been taught to use soft pads under the bandage and never to wrap the bandage straight on the legs, but i guess there’s different methods.

I’ve always heard you’re supposed to cup the fetlock a little more for added support and make sure the V shape is centered so there’s no resistance, but there are tons of different ways to wrap I guess
