Rollkur – stop the cruelty The FEI have made a good step in the right direction stating that any training methods or practices that are contrary to horse welfare are condemned.. concerning rollkur, however the statement was a bit vague and I am sure that the war against cruelty is not over. The vets are continuously researching the anatomical effects to strive for the truth. But we must also consider the mental state of the horse… it is clear that these horses have become introverted and try to live with the pain.
