      Dressage is suitable for any non gaited breed of horse. It will improve them from a strength standpoint as dressage is considered the weightlifting of the horse sports.

      Right now, the most competitive breeds of dressage horses at the top levels are Dutch warmbloods and Swedish warmbloods.
